Official Super Bowl 50 Predictions

Official Super Bowl 50 Preview
The final game of the season is here, and it brings the intriguing matchup of MVP Cam Newton’s league best Panthers against the Broncos in quite possibly Peyton Manning’s last game. Both teams have been red-hot leading up to this game. Carolina’s highest-scoring offense just put up 49 points against Arizona, while Denver knocked down Tom Brady an amazing 23 times in their respective Conference Championship Games. Before tonight’s game, I just wanted to lay out some of my predictions and favorite bets for what will hopefully be the final year in which no money is actually involved.
Predictions:
P. Manning: 19-37, 205 yards, 1 TD, 2 turnovers
C. Newton: 15-26, 276 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 10 rushes, 49 yards, TD

CJ Anderson: 14 rushes, 67 yards, TD
J. Stewart: 17 rush, 61 yards, TD

D. Thomas: 3 rec, 34 yards
E. Sanders: 8 rec, 97 yards, TD
G. Olsen: 6 rec, 78 yards
C. Brown: 3 rec, 71 yards, TD
T. Ginn: 3 rec, 51 yards, 2 rushes, 17 yards, 48 punt return yards

Final Score: Denver 16, Carolina 34

SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS: CAROLINA PANTHERS
Bets:
Carolina -3.5 1st half line (-105)
Yes – Either team scores 3 straight times (-165)
Panthers total points OVER 31.5 (+235) and OVER 13.5 1st half points (-115)
Carolina adjusted lines -10.5 (+180) and -14.5 (+240)
Panthers win by 11-13 points (+900) and win by 14-17 (+800)
Cam Newton +0.5 passing yards vs Peyton Manning (-125)
Fozzy Whitaker OVER 6.5 rush+receiving yards (-140)
Corey Brown OVER 42.5 receiving yards (even), scores touchdown (+400) and scores 1st touchdown (+2500)
Blue – Color of Gatorade dumped on coach (+200)
Denver exact points 18 (+3500) and Carolina exact points 34 (+2000)
CJ Anderson – player to score 1st Denver touchdown (+450)
Cam Newton scores rushing TD and Panthers win game (+162)
Emmanuel Sanders 8 or more receptions (+325) and scores last TD (+900)
Panthers Defense/Special Teams scores touchdown (+187)
Cam Newton wins Super Bowl MVP (-150)

These are the bets I like, and let’s just say I’ll have $10 on each. I’ll see how much I would have won or lost at the end! Even though I’m obviously heavy on Carolina, I would still love if Denver wins this game, as Peyton Manning is my favorite player of all time. I like both these teams, I’m just happy the Patriots are out of it! Good luck to both teams, and let’s have a great Super Bowl. Until next season, football.
